UCRRA Undergraduate Student Scholarship
The UCR Retirees’ Association (UCRRA) awards scholarships of up to $5,000 to eligible undergraduate students to support their educational goals and success at UCR. This scholarship program is made possible by the countless contributions of retired UCR staff.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The recipient(s) is a current 2026-2027 undergraduate student, who has a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher (First year UCR students or transfer students without a UCR GPA should have a cumulative high school or transfer GPA of 3.3 or higher).
- The recipient(s) is the child, grandchild, or other close relative of a UCR retiree, staff member, faculty member, or emeritus/emerita faculty.
Deadline and Award Schedule
The call for applications opens on October 11, 2026. Eligible UCR students may use UCRRA's Qualtrics form to submit their scholarship application by Thursday, November 12, 2026. By submitting your application, you agree to have the UCR Financial Aid Office release your financial aid information as needed to the UCRRA Scholarship Selection Committee.
The UCRRA Scholarship Committee will review applications in November and will work with the UCR Financial Aid Office to notify the awarded recipient(s). The UCRRA will invite the award recipient(s) to the UCR Retirees and Emeriti Winter Luncheon on February 5, 2027, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Alumni and Visitors Center, to congratulate the award recipient(s).
