The Staff Plaza and Memorial Garden is located near the Physics 2000 courtyard, immediately east of the Science Lab 1 and Geology Buildings. Surrounded by roses and other flowers, it is a place of quiet reflection and a memorial to staff members who have passed away while employed at UC Riverside. These include regular staff as well as faculty with administrative positions.

The garden is supported and maintained by UCR's Grounds & Facilities team.

Staff Assembly partners with UCR Human Resources to identify staff members to be included in the garden.
