Staff Assembly receives its income from a variety of sources, including:

• An allocation of $25,000 from the Office of the Chancellor's discretionary funds.
• Individual donations, including the Society '54  payroll deduction program.
• Corporate and organizational sponsors.
• Fee waivers.
• Fundraising events

The annual budget covers a variety of campus programs and events, including:

• General meetings
• UC Walks
• UCR Beautification
• Community Partner Fair
• Staff Assistance Program
• Scholarships
• Awards and Recognition
